ROKVEN collects minimal personal information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and an encrypted password. We do not store raw passwords — all credentials are hashed using bcrypt with a salt factor of 12.

When you use the platform, we may collect usage data such as pages visited, gear items viewed, and loadout configurations saved to your account. This data is used solely to provide and improve the service.

• To provide account functionality and saved loadouts
• To personalise gear recommendations based on your gear closet
• To improve the platform and fix issues
• To communicate important updates about the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and tracking

ROKVEN uses essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We may use anonymous analytics to understand platform usage patterns.

4. Affiliate links

ROKVEN participates in affiliate programs. When you click on product links that lead to third-party retailers, those retailers may use cookies to track purchases for commission purposes. These affiliate relationships do not influence our gear analysis or performance scoring — all ratings are derived from objective performance data.

5. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt), HTTPS-only connections, JWT-based authentication, and server-side environment variable management for all secrets and API keys.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Open-Meteo — weather data (no personal data shared)
• Neon — database hosting (encrypted at rest)

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may delete your account and all associated data through your profile settings.
